Margaret Marsden Fryer, MSN, CNM, IBCLC
Margaret Marsden Fryer, MSN, CNM, IBCLC is a Nurse-Midwife of 25 years and a Certified Lactation Specialist. She earned degrees at Duke University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After five years working in the hospital as a Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, and Labor & Delivery Nurse, she obtained her Masters in Nursing (Midwifery) at Oregon Health Sciences University. 
Though she is currently a hospital-based Nurse-Midwife, she has worked as a midwife in many settings, including a community health center, a private practice, and a birthing center. Margaret has a special interest in Perinatal Mood issues, addressing the needs of women struggling with anxiety and depression or previous traumatic births.
Margaret is married to Jeff and is the proud mother of three young adults (two of whom were born at home). When she is not delivering prenatal care or babies, she enjoys running, reading novels, drinking fine wine, attending the theater, and digging in the garden. She is a member of Hope Community Church.
